Founded in 1941, Taoyuan Senior High School, located in Taoyuan Dist., Taoyuan City, Taiwan, is a public high school comprised of general classes, bilingual experimental classes, dance specialty classes, and sports specialty classes. Currently, our school enrolls students from 10th to 12th grades with 22 classes per grade totaling 66 classes plus one class specially arranged for learners with special needs. Out of these 66 classes, 51 are ordinary classes, one bilingual experimental class for Math, Science and Technology (founded in 2022), three Math and Science gifted classes, three language gifted classes, two biomedical classes, three dance specialty classes and three sports specialty classes. Overall, the 66 classes hold a student number of 2323 in 2022.

      Surrounded by Hutou Mountain and Nankan River, the school prides itself on the high-quality education with beautiful natural surroundings, harmonious learning environment and well-equipped facilities. Well-known for their academic achievement, over 95% of the students will continue their studies after graduating and most of them are able to attend prestigious universities. Apart from outstanding academic performance, the school also aims at fostering professional dancers and athletes and encouraging students to develop their own interests by autonomously choosing their own clubs and courses, by which the school puts “developing talent in every student—nurture by nature, and promoting life-long learning.” into practice. Furthermore, the school places a great emphasis on building students’ characters, cultivating each student to be a respectful, sympathetic and responsible learner.
